This is the first ever sporting event sent live to the home. On March 24th, the NHL game of the Rangers vs. the Islanders was shot live in 3D and via Cablevision to their home market subscriber base. The game was also shown on monitors throughout Madison Square Garden, and on a 40' screen to an audience of 2,000+ persons. |
